Description
The Cannery Casino and Hotel is quite a ways from the Strip, but if you're in town for NASCAR it's the perfect spot – about five minutes from the Las Vegas Motor Speedway. It's also conveniently located about 15 minutes from downtown and attractions like the Fremont Street Experience and Las Vegas Premium Outlets - North. Their newly remodeled rooms are affordable and you'll find amenities like a seasonal pool and hot tub, a fitness room and a movie theater. This isn't your grandmother's movie theater though. The Galaxy Luxury+ theater has reclining leather seats and all sorts of high-tech features plus they let you reserve specific seats in the theater. For live entertainment The Club hosts concerts and festivals. The Cannery boasts all of the casino action you'd find in a Las Vegas Strip hotel. There are countless slot and video poker machines, blackjack, craps and roulette. Non-smokers can happily play away from the haze in a non-smoking slot parlor. You’ll also find a race and sports book where large TVs broadcast all the day's big games and a bingo hall. If you're looking for a pre- or post-dinner cocktail, The Cannery has several bars to choose from. Sports fans can catch all the action at Victory's Bar & Grill, which has giant flat screen TVs and two projector screens. Video game junkies can get their fix at the bar too. They have free Xbox 360 games to play. You can also find drinks at Pin-Ups Bar, which has live entertainment and an atmosphere that pays tribute to the post World War II pin-up girls. There are enough restaurants at The Cannery to satisfy even the pickiest of eaters. Waverly's Steakhouse delivers steaks, chops and seafood with traditional sides. Awaken your taste buds with chile verde, mole poblano and other delicious Mexican dishes in Casa Cocina. Featuring authentic flavors from Italy, Vino's Ristorante cooks up pasta -- and you can get a slice of mouthwatering pizza from Vino's Pizzeria. Classic American favorites are served 24 hours a day at Victory's Café, and if you still can't decide on a specific cuisine, go to the Cannery Row Buffet, which prepares an array of flavorful foods from all over the world.
